TY-25C infrared spectrophotometer uses tetrachloroethylene to extract oil substances in water, and then uses anhydrous sodium sulfate to isolate impurities and water, separate the solution of oil and tetrachloroethylene, and determine the oil content of the total extract. At the same time, the extraction liquid can be adsorbed with magnesium silicate, and the petroleum type can be determined after removing polar substances such as animal and plant oil. The total extract and petroleum contents were calculated by the absorbance A2930, A2960 and A3030 at the bands of 2930cm-1 (stretching vibration of C-H bonds in CH2 groups), 2960cm-1 (stretching vibration of C-H bonds in CH3 groups) and 3030cm-1 (stretching vibration of C-H bonds in aromatic rings), respectively It's OK. The content of animal and vegetable oils is calculated as the difference between the total extract and the petroleum content.
