NOx analyzer uses the principle of chemiluminescence to monitor nitrogen oxides, nitric oxide (NO) and ozone (O3) react and produce a unique luminescence, the intensity of the luminescence and the concentration of NO.

The degree is linearly proportional. Nitrogen dioxide (NO2) must first be converted to NO in order to be measured using a chemiluminescent reaction, and NO2 is converted to NO by a converter. The air sample is sucked into the analyzer through the sampling system and then flows to the mode solenoid valve, which sends the sample directly to the reaction chamber (NO mode) or via the converter to the reaction chamber (NOX mode). The dry air enters the analyzer through the sampling system and then passes through an ozone generator. The ozone reacts with NO in the sample to produce excited NO2 molecules, the luminescence produced in this reaction is detected by a photomultiplier tube (PMT) encapsulated in the cooler, the concentrations of NO and NOX calculated in the NO and NOX modes are stored in the memory, and the concentration difference is used to calculate the concentration of NO2. It can be used to detect and evaluate the concentration level of NOx in ambient air quality parameters.
